About Juvenis

Juvenis is a Black-led, grassroots organisation committed to empowering young people, with a focus on Black men and boys, to lead with confidence, creativity, and cultural pride. We believe in supporting youth of all backgrounds to develop leadership skills, engage in meaningful community service, and build a future rooted in equality and justice.

At Juvenis, we reframe and challenge the harmful assumptions that affect young Black boys and men and, instead, we address the social, emotional and economic root causes of their behaviours. Through mentorship, education and community engagement, we work to inspire a generation of leaders who are confident in their identity, grounded in their heritage and committed to their community.

Our work centres on building relationships, fostering personal development, and creating opportunities for young Black men and boys to actively participate in their learning and transformation.

We aim to create an environment where young people feel valued, respected and empowered to realise their full potential. These principles work together to create a framework that ensures that our youth work always remains relevant, responsive and rooted in the needs and aspirations of the young people it serves.
